POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
Instructors/Lecturers (Special
Education) (Variable-Time)
Department of Educational Psychology and Special Education
Position: Instructors/Lecturers (variable percent of time) in the
Department of Educational Psychology and Special Education throughout the
academic year 2009-2010.
Responsibilities: Teach courses at the undergraduate/graduate level in
special education.
Requirements: The rank of Instructor requires an earned Master's degree in Special Education or a related field. The rank of Lecturer requires an earned Doctorate in Special Education or related field.
Persons applying for these positions
must demonstrate:
a. a broad background with an
emphasis in special education;
b. knowledge and experience in the
content area;
Preference will be given to individuals with teaching experiences in development and evaluation of a functional curriculum and/or early childhood special education curriculum and assessment.
Appointment and Salary: Salary is commensurate with qualifications. These are Non-tenure Track positions and do not lead to tenure.
Effective Date of Appointment: Fall 2009, Spring 2010, or Summer 2010
