Lecturers (Counselor Education)
Department of Educational Psychology and Special Education


Position: Lecturers (1.0 FTE preferred, variable percent considered) in the Department of Educational Psychology and Special Education to fill potential vacancies throughout the academic year 2009-2010.

Responsibilities: Teach courses at the graduate level in counselor education.

Requirements: The rank of Lecturer requires an earned Doctorate in Counselor Education or related discipline.

  1. Persons applying for these positions must demonstrate:
            a. a broad background with an emphasis in counseling education;
            b. knowledge and experience in the content area;

  2. Preference will be given to individuals with teaching and clinical experiences in couple and family counseling, school counseling, community counseling, and group work.

Appointment and Salary: Salary is commensurate with qualifications. These are Non-tenure Track positions and do not lead to tenure.

Effective Date of Appointment: Fall 2009, Spring 2010, or Summer 2010
