Visiting Assistant Professors (2-D Foundations Studio) (Variable Time)
School of Art & Design

Position: Variable Time Visiting Assistant Professors in 2-D Foundations Studio Areas (printmaking, industrial design, glass, communication design, computer graphics)

Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience

Starting date: August 16, 2008

Qualifications: The successful applicant(s) must have an MFA in art or design.  Prior teaching experience at the university level in 2-D foundations is preferred.

Duties: Teach courses in the School of Art and Design's 2-D foundations area, to include a weekly one-hour lecture. Graduate assistant
supervision and oversight of budget and facility. Teaching a course or courses in an additional area within the School in printmaking, industrial design, glass, communication design, or computer graphics would be preferred.
