Researcher I (3 Variable-time positions)
Department of Mining and Mineral Resources Engineering

Position: Researcher I, (Variable-time) 3 positions

Qualifications: B.S. degree or equivalent experience in environmental engineering, environmental chemistry, mining engineering. Experience in mining industry highly desirable. Previous experience in mine environment, water quality and dust control sampling and analysis, computational fluid dynamics modeling highly desirable. Good communication, interpersonal, and hands-on work related skills.

Duties: Assist with research, and coordinate project activities. Perform experiments, collect, analyze, and synthesize data and interface with industry. Overnight travel may be required.

Effective Date of Appointment: As soon as possible
