Assistant/Associate Professor
(Physiology)
Department of Physiology
Position: Assistant Professor or Associate Professor, Physiology. Twelve-month appointment, one hundred percent time (100%), tenure-track position in the Department of Physiology, School of Medicine.
Duties:
Minimum Qualifications: All applicants must have a Ph.D. (or equivalent degree) and evidence of high quality research potential. Postdoctoral experience is required. For appointment at the associate professor level, the candidate should have faculty status at a university (or equivalent), an extramurally funded research program, and a strong record of research productivity as evidenced by a history of extramural funding and extensive publications in scientific journals.
This is a security sensitive position. Before any offer of employment is made, the University will conduct a pre-employment background investigation which includes a criminal background check.
Salary: Commensurate with education, experience,
and established School of Medicine guidelines.
Effective Date of Appointment: January 1, 2010
